Sunday February 13

The First Baptist Church Celina will be ordaining two men on Sunday February 13 in the afternoon.   Beginning at 1:30PM.  Requesting help from all ordained men to attend the Council at 1PM.

All ordained men are requested to attend if possible.  The two men are    Ron Brady ,  ordination for staff pastoral ministry (not as current pastor) and Carl Fly, ordination for Deacon.

Saturday February 26

The SBC has called upon all Associations nationwide to hold a Solemn Assembly in 2011.  http://www.sbclife.org/Articles/2010/12/sla14.asp

We have scheduled a Solemn Assembly for Saturday February 26th…. From 4PM to 9PM … with all day preparation encouraged with personal prayer and fasting …. And the entire WCBA leaders and people gathering at Wapakoneta Baptist Church beginning at 4PM.  Please feel free to come and go …to and from the meeting as you feel led and as your schedule allows.    Please see the attached PDF files for most details…. Monday March 21

The next WCBA Executive Board Meeting will be    March  21,  7PM    Hillcrest Baptist   Bellefontaine

May 16th WCBA Executive Board Meeting    and July 18, and  Nov. 21 meetings in need of a location.  Please call if your church can host.       The September 19th meeting will be at Woodlawn, Lima.      The Annual Meeting will be at Bluffton Baptist  Saturday October 1, 2011.  Thank You for Attending!   We encourage all to attend and especially the pastor and the designated WCBA messenger from your church .  Please call or email us with the names of your two designated WCBA Messengers (the Pastor and one member).  The May meeting will bring nominations from the WCBA Nominating Committee for service in 2012.

Tuesday March 22 

Dan Duffy Area Missionary with the North Coast Association will be leading us in ERC training at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sidney, Brent Howard, pastor, Tuesday night March 22 at 6:30 PM….. about a 90 minute training.  What is ERC?   Evangelism Response Center of the North American Mission Board…… HERE   is the link…..   

Saturday April 9

The North Coast Association will also be providing a regional LifeWay VBS Cinic for all WCBA churches who may wish to attend… FREE….on Saturday morning   April 9th   at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Lima…. Chris Page, Pastor.
